Corporate DJ FAQs
I am a multi-format DJ so can play any genre you require. Popular genres that I play at corporate events include Top 40, Pop, RnB, House, Deep house etc. You can also elect for the music to be clean without expletives. Having worked as a corporate event DJ for a number of years, I also understand how to follow a brief to ensure the music matches your event plan exactly as you would like.
I can work with specific instruction as well as minimal instruction depending on your needs. I know what type of music to play at what time to ensure your guests are comfortable and enjoy their time at your event.
I will work with what space you have as I can customise the set up to suit your size requirements. For a rough idea – my DJ booth, 2 speakers and light bar needs about 2m2 to fit comfortably and look presentable.
I arrive at least 1 hour prior to the start time of the event to set up. This time varies depending on if the venue has stairs and how far away the set up is from the loading bay. I allow at least 45 minutes for pack down. This is always discussed prior to the day with you and the venue to ensure set up doesn’t conflict with other suppliers or other events on the same day. I can also come earlier in the day to set up and return in the case of conflicts with other events or vendors setting up.
There are no additional fees for set up or pack down and the booking time doesn’t include the set up/pack down, meaning you’re only paying for the DJ play-time.
Yes, I have equipment and public liability insurance and can provide a certificate of currency if required.
