Terms Of Service

1. Commencement of work
Agreement to work with and payment of the required deposit establishes an agreement to Samantha Rose Events’ terms and conditions.

2. Payment terms
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days of receiving your invoice in order to secure your chosen date.

If this deposit has not been made, the requested date will be made available for other bookings.

Your balance is to be made minimum 1 week (7 days) for events or 1 month (30 days) for a wedding prior to your event/wedding date.

If you’re having trouble paying the invoice prior to your event, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me as soon as possible so I can help you work out a solution.

3. Additional Hours
A client may request additional hours on the condition that myself and the venue are available and happy for you to extend the booking.

Payment must be made on the spot via bank transfer and a receipt must be sent as proof of the transfer taking place.

4. Services Provided
The client and guests are permitted to request songs at your event and I will do my best to play them providing I have the songs you ask for.

It is recommended that the song list is emailed at least 1 week prior to your event in case I need to download any songs I may not have.

5. Failure of Equipment
In the unlikely event that there is an incident that results in equipment failure (i.e. a power outage or other incident) Samantha Rose Events cannot provide a refund unless we are at fault.

If this is to be the case, upon assessment a full or partial refund will be made at the discretion of the company to ensure a resolution is reached with the client.

6. Set up Time
Samantha Rose Events will contact the venue manager or be given a point of contact by the client in order to ascertain access points and ensure there is ample time; at least 60 minutes for set up & 45 minutes for pack down. (this is subject to change depending on venue circumstances i.e. stairs, stages, parking and walking distance.)

If you know that this time limit is not possible, please ensure you include it in your booking so we can assess other options.

Unfortunately no discount can be given if access is not available in time and as a result, set up times run late.

It is the client’s duty that our staff will be provided a safe working environment for safety of both our staff and your guests.

7. Misbehaviour
The client takes full responsibility of the behaviour of themselves and guests (invited or not).

If any physical or verbal harassment is directed towards the DJ or staff, they have the right to cease their duties until the matter is resolved.

The client must resolve any issues within 15 minutes in whatever means necessary, otherwise our staff have the right to pack up and leave the event should they feel unsafe.

8. Injuries
Samantha Rose Events cannot be held liable for any injuries that are a result of the client or other guests, especially when intoxication of any form is involved.

9. Damages and Theft
The client will take full responsibility for any damages or theft made by guests to equipment or property owned by staff.

If damage occurs while in the client’s care, full replacement costs will be charged.

10. The Agreement
This agreement is a binding contract when you hire Samantha Rose Events and it is assumed that you have read the terms and conditions before signing the contract which contains the same information.

I cannot be held accountable if the terms and conditions have not been read.

Changes to these terms and conditions will not be made during your event, but are subject to change any time without prior warning.
