The Easy 5 Step Process

1. Enquire with me

Send me an enquiry with the date of your wedding, your venue and the start and end time (if known) and I’ll respond to you within 48 hours with some questions to prepare a proposal for you.

2. Book with me

If you’re happy with the process and think we’ll be a good fit, secure the booking with a 30% deposit.

If you’ve got some questions or just more of a talk in person rather than emails we can set up a phone or virtual meeting to go over the details before locking it in.

3. Plan with me

You’ll receive an interactive planning form to guide you in your music selections, a ‘speed-dating’ questionnaire so I can get to know your love story a little better.

Once you have filled these out, I will contact your venue to introduce myself and arrange a site visit. I will also liaise with other vendors where necessary (i.e. your celebrant, MC, photographer, wedding planner etc.) to ensure your reception runs as smoothly as possible.

4. Meet with me

2-3 weeks before your wedding we’ll meet to finalise all of the details together.

We will go over your music selection, the final version of the run sheet and anything else that needs to be finalised before the big day!

5. Party time

Sit back, relax and enjoy watching your vision come to life with all your family and friends with you on your special day.

Some Of My Past Weddings

Wedding FAQs

Can I choose the songs/playlist for my wedding?

Absolutely! To ensure you are able to choose the exact songs you want at the exact times you want them, I use an interactive wedding music planner that I created for my couples to make choosing your music easy and fun.

The lists all the key parts of a wedding like ‘reception entrance’, ‘first dance’, ‘bouquet throw’ etc. to ensure you don’t forget anything.

How extensive is your music library and song list?

Having been a wedding DJ for a number of years, I have tens of thousands of songs in my library.

If I don’t have a song you want, I will download it from a DJ music pool that I use.

All my music is downloaded legally and has a license that allows it to be played at private and public events.

So that I can download all the songs you want for each part of your wedding, I’ll ask you to provide me a list of songs, either on Spotify or typed up, that I then use to curate the specific songs for each part of your wedding.

How many weddings do you do each weekend?

To ensure the best wedding DJ service possible, I only ever DJ one wedding each weekend. I want to be able to dedicate my full attention to every aspect about your wedding thus will only take on one wedding booking per weekend.

Can you DJ alongside a band?

Yes, definitely. I often DJ alongside a band or live performer. As soon as I know that I am DJing with a band or performer, I will get in contact with them to discuss timings and equipment to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

Will you be the DJ & MC on set providing the services?

Yes, I am not a company or agency that contracts DJs to perform at your event, it’s just me. I’ll work directly with you from the initial enquiry to the planning process in the lead up and then provide the DJ and/or MC service myself.

Do you take song requests?

Yes, 100%! If you are happy for your guests to request songs then I am more than happy to play them. On my music planning form you’ll have an option to answer ‘yes’, ‘no’ and ‘within reason’ to this question.

Understanding how to read a crowd I use my discretion if a guest requests something silly or inappropriate or just not right for the time or mood.

Do you take any breaks during your DJ performance?

I do not require any breaks during the DJ play-time but do appreciate a meal (especially for longer gigs) which I can either eat at a supplier table or at my decks.

Do you require a deposit to book in our date?

I require a minimum 30% deposit to secure your booking. Once you receive the invoice you’ll have 7 days where the date will be reserved.
